Eclipse Floor is a freestanding bioethanol fireplace from the Danish manufacturer Nordlys Danemark. The fireplace consists of a powder-coated steel sphere and three oak feet.
Inside the fireplace, you will find a 1.6-liter bioethanol burner that can burn for 5 to 6 hours on a full tank of bioethanol fuel, which represents a bioethanol consumption in the range of 0.30 to 0.35 liters of bioethanol per hour. However, this can vary depending on the location of the fireplace.
As with all other bio fireplaces from Nordlys Danemark, the burner is equipped with a ceramic stone that absorbs the bioethanol, so it cannot be spilled from the burner after filling.
Since the Eclipse Floor is freestanding and does not require an electrical connection or a chimney system, it can be easily moved, allowing you to enjoy the flames and heat exactly where you want them. However, the fireplace should never be left outside when not in use. Rain and weather will significantly reduce the lifespan of the bioethanol fireplace.
